Now that's a dessert!

This Not-Just-for-Thanksgiving Cranberry Shortbread Cake is by far one of the most unique recipes in Dorie Greenspan's cookbook, Baking From My Home to Yours.
And let me tell you friends, it was a winner! You must make it this holiday season because it is just as festive as it is delicious.

You can snag the recipe from Jessica's blog, Singleton in the Kitchen. You'll also need to check out the Leave Your Link post on the Tuesdays with Dorie site, because you may just find some bloggers that filled their shortbread with other jams, jellies and even caramelized apples!

Your cake looks delicious! I really is such a festive dessert, but too good for only Thanksgiving!
Becky what a great cake! This was so good and so easy to make. We loved it. Definitely a winner for the holiday season.
I could have eaten the whole thing all by myself.
It was a good cake, wasn't it? I used raspberries, as Thanksgiving is over for me, and cranberries aren't my fave. I'll be making this again, I'm sure, with other fillings.
:)
I was totally blown away too! I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I did! Your cake looks divine!
It is definitely festive and delicious! Looks great!
Another home run. Dorie clearly knows her business.
I wasn't necessarily all excited about this recipe based on the name and description, but the sweet shortbread combined with the fresh cranberries were a hit. Good work, Becky.
I agree, this is one awesome dessert. I'll make it often. Have a wonderful day.
great description!
I'm so happy you enjoyed this dessert. Your cake looks spectacular. Thanks for baking along with me this week!
